Starting with HatchKeeper 0.70, batches can be managed in groups. This makes it easy to get batch averages as well as easier to delete or export multiple batches at once.

On the desktop you can access group features by switching to the Groups panel to the right of the Batch Statistics panel. On mobile you open the group dialog in the toolbar.

The group list is in the top left of the groups panel. Selecting a group will populate the rest of the panel.

To the right of the group list, there is a text input for storing comments for the group. This will not affect the comments on any of the batches in the group. After making changes you always have to click the Update Comments button to save changes.

The rest of the panel is read-only. At the bottom left you'll see a list of all the batches in this group. On the bottom right you'll see the statistics for this group. Values that are calculated include:

Total Eggs
Total Chicks
Average % Of Eggs Were Fertile
Average % Of Fertile Hatched
Average % Of Total Hatched
Average % Of Total Unhatched

All the way at the bottom of the panel you'll see a drop-down menu where you can:

Save a text group report
Print a group report
Export the entire group so you can import later. Note: Like exporting a batch in 0.80, advanced egg data will not be exported. Use a text or printed report instead.
Save an iCal file that you can import into you're favorite calendar application for notifications on batch events

On the desktop, Add Group and Delete Group are seperate buttons at the bottom. On mobile, Add Group is found in the drop-down at the bottom and the Delete Group button is found to the left of each group name in the group list. Be aware that on both platforms, deleting a group will delete all the batches it contains. This can't be undone!
